Although my time in New York was for business not pleasure, I managed to make a quick pit stop at a favorite paint store in NY, Kremer Pigmente. This is a small specialist store that sells raw pigments of the brightest colors and purest form. It is a spectacle of the most vivid colors and information.
Following in the same vein of bright color, this is a vintage textile we used on a chaise lounge in a large all-white living room of this traditional Brownstone – the colors really inspired the client to use colors elsewhere in the house but just give a shocking punch of colors in this room against the crisp white. On rainy NY winters day which seems almost impossible to imagine in this standard humid summer – the magenta and gold silk really lift one’s spirits.
